We are a small, but dynamic parish located in the Lake of the Ozarks region of Mid-Missouri.  Our mission is to grow everyday in the truth and love of the Lord Jesus Christ through worship, healing, care, outreach and evangelism.

St. George Episcopal Church News Highlights

Choir Returns!!

Our wonderful St. George Choir will resume activities Saturday, September 11, with their annual retreat/workshop from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The first regular rehearsal will take place the next day on Sunday, September 12 at 9:00 a.m.  We could use some additional voices in the alto, Tenor and Bass sections.  if you know of someone (or could be you) who might be interested, give Bob Johnson a call.

Culver's Night

Our next night at Culver's is scheduled for Thursday, September 23 from 5-8 p.m.  As usual, the Brotherhood of St. Andrew will serve and clean tables, for which we will receive a portion of the proceeds during the time we serve.  All of the money raised will be used for our outreach into the community.

African Team Ministries Sale

We will once again have a display and sale of crafts to support orphan and refugee relief, missions and evangelism in East Africa.  This will be held on Sunday, September 12 and 19 after both services.

SAVE THE DATE!

We will host a fundraiser based on the old British Victorian Music Hall.  It will consist of musical and spoken vignettes drawn from traditional British songs, jokes, and stories and will feature professional talent.  The performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 15 and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday October 17 at the Camden County Museum.  During the "Interval", we will serve spiced cider and English snacks such as sausage rolls.  Before the performance and at the Interval, there will be a silent auction of baskets and small items.  Mark your calendar for this special event!
